At this point, NASA’s James Webb Telescope, which is set to revolutionize the way we view our universe, is simply blowing senses. More than 45,000 galaxies are visible in a single frame in a picture taken by the most powerful telescope.

According to the US space agency, the JADES program, which seeks to find and identify distant and faint galaxies, will be given a total of 32 days of the James Webb telescope.
Tucson professor Marcia Rieke, co-leader of the JADES program, emphasized the program’s goal of exploring a wide range of questions.
These questions cover a wide range of issues, including the mechanisms that led to the formation of the first galaxies, the rate at which stars form, and the factors that prevent some galaxies from forming stars.

The scientists looked at galaxies that lived about 500 to 850 million years after the big bang, when the universe was still young and the region was shrouded in a gaseous fog that was invisible to bright light.
Astronomers using Webb’s NIRSpec (Near-Infrared Spectrograph) instrument searched for signs of star formation in the early stages of the universe and found that they were widespread at that time.

The image was captured as part of the JWST Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey (JADES), Webb’s largest first-year science program.
