Over the weekend, a new Parliament building was inaugurated and several Bollywood celebrities celebrated the moment on their social media accounts. From Shahrukh Khan to Akshay Kumar tweeted praising the new building and called it the pride of India. On the other hand, the new Parliament House is also making headlines for the detained protesters who tried to take out the march from Jantar Mantar. Now, Twitter has taken note of Bollywood actors’ silence regarding the protest and it is not happy.

Fans reacted to the post which also features Shah Rukh’s voice by sharing pictures of the protest and tweets from other protests. Meanwhile, many also asked why Bollywood and cricket celebrities are silent on the wrestlers’ protest which is due from January 2023.
A Twitter user said, ‘Shame on Bollywood who can debate on K files earlier and now on K story but not on Wrestler Protest!! Where are they!!’ Added another, “How Controlling 1st Side. Entire #Bollywood & #Godimedia is talking about #NewParliamentBuilding 2nd Side. #WrestlerProtest completely ignored, will be remembered in history.”
It’s a shame on Bollywood which can debate on K files first and now on K story but not on protesting wrestlers!!

Twitter is fuming with Bollywood stars for not opening up about the protests that took place on the same day, not 2 kilometers away from the venue of the inauguration. Videos and posts of the champions being dragged by the police on the streets of Delhi have gone viral on social media.
Bollywood celebs tweeting about the new parliament is fine, even if it’s paid, but they won’t tweet about wrestlers who have won medals for the country and are fighting for justice on the streets?
Hey B Town🙌🏻 love India, do the same to Indians🇮🇳 #WrestlerProtest #counter– Humdum (@Humdum_16) May 28, 2023
why this #Bollywood Veterans are silent on the protest of wrestlers at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar ground. Only dialogues speak in films and do not open their mouths on real issues.

The protests were called off three months after they first started. But after months of silence from the sports ministry, the wrestlers returned to the streets for a non-violent protest. But the police were allegedly harassing him at Jantar Mantar as well and have now taken him into custody along with the journalists who were covering the incident.
