Blockchain detective ZachXBT has implicated a YouTuber with over 120,000 subscribers in a crypto scam worth over $1.5 million over the past two years.
Some of those scams are linked to the infamous Monkey Drainer, an anonymous and brash phishing scamster known for stealing people’s NFTs.
Linking “Blue” to Monkey Drenner
Before entering the world of crypto scams in July 2021, the scammer – known as “BluXBT” or “JB Adventures” (JACK) – had grown his YouTube following by “uploading gaming and trolling videos”. Tweeted ZachXBT on Mondays.
The on-chain spy linked Jack to the ENS address cold-breeze.eth, which he was shown sharing publicly in the leaked image from his Snapchat account.
same address bought BAYC 8668 in October 2022. However, an inflow of over 85 ETH was also received from 8 Ethereum addresses linked to the Monkey Drainer phishing scam.
Monkey Drainer is known to have stolen over $24 million worth of NFTs using a technique known as “ice phishing”. With this tactic, instead of asking for a victim’s private keys directly, they are tricked into signing a transaction that gives the hacker control over the user’s funds, using fraudulent crypto and NFT websites.
In November, Cryptopotatoes reported that Monkey Drainer had stolen over 1,200 ETH worth of NFTs, including those from collections such as BAYC, Cryptopunks, and Otherside.
ZachXBT shared screenshots from Discord in which Blue bragged about his BAYC purchase, while also instructing his employees to aid in his scams.

ZachXBT continued, “Unfortunately Blue was robbed of her BAYC at the end of 2022 after being duped by a monkey phishing scam.”
Blue’s Scam
However, Blue got back into the scam in a short time using new ENS addresses. He spent his stolen money on luxury items such as cars, watches and shoes, while using the others to gamble on stakes.
One of Blue’s recent scams involved the theft of 61.5k ETH and 93.3k USDT lovemake.eth, “Blue got himself 49 ETH and 74K USDT after the Draenor fee,” ZachXBT said.
Others include Phished Milady and Squiggle NFTs yancey.eth Blue’s ENS at Purplelobster.eth. The value of the NFT was approximately 12 ETH, of which Blue kept 10.3 ETH after the drainer fee.
ZachXBT concluded, “It’s disgusting to see these phishing scammers show zero remorse and spend money on tasteless items.” He added that information about Blue (Jack) has been shared with several of his victims to help them eventually pursue legal action against him.
