Washington: YouTuber and former host of comedy talk show ‘The Grace Helbig Show’ Grace Helbig revealed on Monday that she is suffering from breast cancer. According to Deadline, Helbig learned of the diagnosis after noticing a lump in her left breast and reluctantly told her gynecologist about it during her annual exam. “I noticed a weird lump in my left breast, but I actually had to talk myself into bringing it up to her at the appointment because I thought I was just a stupid little girl who didn’t know how girls’ bodies works,” she said. “Thank God I listened to that little voice inside me that finally got the courage to tell her because she also felt it was unusual.”
She revealed that she would undergo six rounds of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and then hormonal therapy, all of which she described as a “very clear treatment plan”. Helbig is best known for her YouTube channel ‘It’s Grace’, which has over 2.6 million subscribers. On television, she most recently hosted the late-night comedy talk show ‘The Grace Helbig Show’, which ran for one season in 2015, reports Deadline.
