In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams showed up in new jerseys, which were designed by sportswear giant Adidas.
Veterans like Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandhana and Jaspreet Bumrah can be seen in the new jersey along with other cricketers of Team India.
Sharing the ad, BCCI tweeted, “The jersey that makes you realize just one thing, nothing is impossible.” Team India will wear a new outfit during the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.
“It will make you feel like a king but also remind you that nothing is bigger than the game,” Virat Kohli said in the video.

Three new jerseys of the Indian cricket team, one for each format, were launched by the BCCI on Thursday. While the T20I jersey has a shade of dark blue, the ODI shirt has a touch of light blue. The BCCI had announced a week ago that Adidas would be the kit sponsor of the cricket team. As per reports, adidas will also design the kits for India A men’s and women’s team, India B men’s and women’s team, India U-19 men’s and women’s team.
After the completion of the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the cricketers of Team India will now have to focus on the WTC final, which will begin on June 7 at the Kennington Oval in London. Team India will face Pat Cummins-led Australia in the final of WTC 2023. The two teams last met during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year and Australia lost 2-1 in that series.
