Varun Tej announces ‘Locked and Loaded’; details inside

Varun Tej is the new hot topic in the film industry recently. Today is indeed a big day for the actor as two major announcements in his life have been announced. Along with announcing his official engagement with Lavanya Tripathi, the actor also shared the release date of his next Gandivadhari Arjun. The film is set to release in theaters on 25 August.

Varun Tej took to social media and said that as Locked and Loaded he made an exciting announcement about his next. He shared a new poster of himself from the film and announced the official release date. In the poster, he is seen wearing a suit with a gun in his hand amid a bomb blast in the background.

Sharing the big news, he wrote, ‘The calm before the storm. Locked and loaded for August 25th!
See you all in theaters soon. #Gandivadhari Arjun.”

The film is directed by Praveen Sattaru, who recently gave a blockbuster film Ghost starring Nagarjuna. The film, which went on floors in October 2022, is moving at a brisk pace to wrap up. Bapineedu and BVSN Prasad will finance the film under their banner SVCC as Nagababu presents the flick. Mukesh will handle the camera work for the film, while Mickey J Meyer will provide background music and songs. Avinash Kolla will oversee the art department of the film.

Yes, the official announcement has been made today with an invite shared on social media. The pair, who have worked together in films like Mr and Antriksham, are all set to start a new chapter in their life.

A source close to Pinkvilla revealed, “The invitations have been sent out to all, though it will be an intimate affair with only close friends and family. Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Sirish, Sushmita Konidela, Sreeja Konidela, Megastar Chiranjeevi and others will be seen at Varun Tej’s engagement to bless the couple.” Prior to their engagement, the couple reportedly enjoyed a holiday together in Paris.
