Throwback: When T Rajendra publicly insulted Sai Dhanshika because she forgot to thank him in his speech

Several incidents of altercation between celebrities have come to the public. In the case of Sai Dhanshika and T Rajendra, the tussle was a one-sided affair. T Rajendra publicly insulted the actress at a press meet in 2017, leaving the actress in tears.

T Rajender publicly insults Sai Dhanshika for not thanking him

At the press meet for the 2017 film Vizhithiru, the film’s team gave speeches and interacted with the media. Sai Dhanshika was then a budding actress who had recently played Rajinikanth’s daughter in Kabali. She accidentally forgot to thank T Rajendra when she got a chance to speak. For most, this isn’t a big deal, as Sai Dhanshika was still a budding actress just getting used to addressing the press. But Rajendra had a different opinion on this matter.

He took it as a personal insult. He then lashed out at how the actress didn’t mention his name in her speech. She also said that she has forgotten his name now as she has worked in Rajinikanth’s film.

When the actress tried to apologise, Rajendra intervened and did not let her say anything. Due to this incident, his tears spilled on the stage. After the incident, many people came out in support of Dhanshika, but while it was happening, none of the members on stage tried to console her as she was crying. On the other hand, they were laughing at Rajendra’s talk and taking it as a joke.

Dhanshika handled the situation gracefully, and after the incident caught fire, she wrote on Twitter, “I really owe it to the people who care and love me for what happened to me. But it’s a pity, This is the condition of single women…”
