Physician-owned CVFP Medical Group and concierge medicine network PartnerMD say they are deploying the Suki Assistant voice artificial intelligence system to reduce the administrative burden of physicians.
As announced today, Suki has been proven to reduce documentation time per note by up to 72% in family medicine settings and integrates with leading electronic health record systems including Epic, Kerner, Athena and Elation.
The implementation will enable physicians from Virginia-based PartnerMD, a concierge physician network, and CVFP Medical Group, a physician-owned, primary care organization based in Lynchburg, to complete documentation in the background — either using dictation or commands.
Suki says it uses generative AI to listen to doctor-patient conversations in real time and auto-generate clinical notes. Practitioners can review and accept, reject, or edit content suggestions to ensure the accuracy of the final notes.
Once the notes are complete, they sync back to the EHR.
Accommodating multiple methods in a single solution gives physicians more flexibility in their workflow, according to Jack Brecher, chief operating officer of PartnerMD.
“PartnerMD has been using Suki for some time and has been highly impressed with how it has enabled our physicians to reduce their administrative burden and devote more time to patient relationship and clinical care,” Brecher said in a statement. have helped.”
A family medicine physician at CVFP, Dr. Elizabeth Goff said that the usage has earned her back “countless hours”.
“Experiencing fatigue from the tedious note-taking and administrative duties, I considered working part-time,” he said.
Suki recently integrated its second generation voice AI tool with Epic earlier this month.
“The latest release of the Suki Assistant will ultimately aid both organizations in their efforts to provide excellent care and services to patients without compromising on daily administrative duties,” said Jalel Harrati, Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at Suki.
