Rocky Aur Rani Love Story: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s first look poster is out

The first look of Rocky and Rani’s love story is finally out, featuring Ranveer Singh as Rocky and Alia Bhatt as Rani. This is Karan’s first film as a director in seven years. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai, was his last film.

Apart from Ranveer and Alia, the love story of Rocky and Rani also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Their posters as Ranveer and Alia’s characters can be seen in the initial look. Ranveer’s statement clothes made him look dashing. Karan described Ranveer’s poster as, “An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his heart on his sleeve – meet Rocky!”

In the second poster, Alia is seen in a glamorous avatar and traditional outfit. The caption read, “Ladies and gentlemen, Rani is here to steal your hearts – meet Rani!”.

The film was extensively shot in New Delhi by Karan Johar. At the time of shooting, several pictures from their outdoor shoot were leaked online, indicating that the film was going for a retro look. Meanwhile, a video of Alia filming a scene at the airport has surfaced online. Earlier this year, the film was wrapped up.

Rocky and Rani’s love story will release on July 28.
