Aamir Khan has already said that he will not be seen in the Indian adaptation of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones. However, he will be the producer of the film. Salman Khan was reportedly approached by the actor for a part in the film. But plans didn’t work out with Salman and as a result, it seems he has given the project to Ranbir Kapoor.
After listening to the story, Ranbir Kapoor showed interest in this big project. If all goes well, he will play the lead in the remake of Champions. RS Prasanna will direct the Hindi version of the Spanish film.
Aamir Khan had earlier commented on the confirmation of the remake of Champions. The Times of India quoted the actor as saying, “It’s a wonderful script, it’s a beautiful story, and it’s a very touching and lovely film but I feel like I want to take a break. “
