Superstar Rajinikanth visited the famous Annamalaiyar temple in Tamil Nadu and sought its blessings. The actor, who was shooting for his upcoming film Laal Salaam, took a break from work and offered prayers at the temple. Despite being a superstar, he went to the temple and prayed to God like a common man, defining simplicity.

When he appeared in the temple, some people gathered in the temple to have a glimpse of him. The superstar visited the temple during the shooting of Laal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya.

Rajinikanth shoots cameo in Laal Salaam
Rajinikanth is playing a cameo role in the film. He was introduced as Moideen Bhai in the first look of the film. The poster was criticized by fans for its poor quality. Introducing the superstar of Laal Salaam, the makers said, “Everyone’s favorite brother is back in Mumbai. Make way for #Thalaivar superstar #Rajinikanth as #Moideenbhai in #Laal Salaam.”
Earlier, Rajinikanth had spent almost a week in Mumbai for the shoot. She also shot alongside legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who is reportedly playing a cameo in the film. She shared a picture with Kapil Dev from the sets while shooting in Mumbai.
Aishwarya is returning to direction after 7 years. Laal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in lead roles. It is handled by Lyca Productions. Laal Salaam is scheduled to release in 2023. Cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy and editor Praveen Baskar are part of the technical team.
