Priyanka Chopra opens up about the struggles she faced during her illustrious career spanning over two decades. The 40-year-old actress has now opened up about what she would tell a woman younger to her if she got a chance to write a letter. Priyanka Chopra reveals what she writes in notes to past-self
during conversation with filmfare, whose May cover star she is, Chopra revealed how she used to behave when she was younger and what she would like to tell her past self if she could. The question was asked, “If you could give a note to your past self, what would it be?” She replied, “I would say calm down. It’s not that bad. I used to take the smallest things too seriously. I’m a Cancer and I’m sensitive so I’ll go into my shell.”

The former Miss World said, “I used to get hurt emotionally. It made it difficult for me to get up and go to work because after any failure or any kind of lost opportunity, I felt such a burden. Especially, in my early days. When I was first starting out in the film industry in my 20s. I didn’t know anybody.” Chopra, who has won several awards for her roles, talked about the pressure during the beginning of her career, saying, “I was a scared girl who came and worked with some of the biggest stars that I grew up watching. Smile a little more and enjoy the process.” Chopra also talked about how she prepares for her job and revealed, “I am a preparation-oriented girl. I do a lot of homework before appearing on the show.
