Prashant Varma announces the release date of Hanuman; Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karam will clash at the box office

Hanuman, the first original superhero film from director Prashant Verma, is a highly anticipated film. The film, starring Teja Sajja in the lead, has high hopes after the debacle of Prabhas’ Adipurush. Today the director announced the new release date of the film. Hanuman Sankranti will hit the theaters on January 12.

Prashant Varma shared a new poster of Hanuman on Twitter and announced the official release date. The film was earlier announced to release on 12 May 2023 but was postponed. The filming, VFX and CCG is taking time and the director wants to give maximum output. With the announcement of the release date, the film joins the Sankranthi league where biggies like Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karam and Ravi Teja’s Eagle are included. Superstars have been releasing their films during Sankranti for three consecutive years and creating blockbuster records at the box office. Now, with three much-awaited Telugu movies releasing simultaneously during Sankranti, it has to be waited and seen. However, since all three are equally big films, it can be quite a task for theater owners as well.

Describing the film as his dream project, Prashant Verma wrote on Twitter, “I have spent 2 years of my life on this film and am ready to spend 6 more months to give you the best! #Hanuman on Sankranti 12 Jan 2024 ” Hanuman’s ‘Pan World’ will release in multiple languages ​​including Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.
