Singh was speaking to reporters at a meeting here regarding preparations for the saints’ rally called by him in Ayodhya on June 5. He has claimed that 11 lakh sadhus will participate in the rally.

The country’s top wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat and Olympic medalists Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik, have been staging a sit-in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar since April 23, demanding Singh’s arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting seven female wrestlers, including a minor. Has been.

Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against the WFI President. While the first FIR pertains to the allegations leveled by the minor wrestler and registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, the second pertains to outraging modesty.
Singh alleged that the POCSO Act was being “misused on a large scale”.

He said that this law was brought by the Congress government without examining its various aspects. Singh also reiterated that all the allegations against him are false.

The Sports Ministry has canceled all activities of the Wrestling Federation until the investigation into the allegations of the wrestlers is completed.
