Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy wants to play Ken in Barbie 2: Let’s read a script

Barbie and Oppenheimer were set to clash at the worldwide box office. However, both the films opened to packed cinemas and garnered critical acclaim. Now in the film directed by Christopher Nolan, J.J. Cillian Murphy, who plays Robert Oppenheimer, has revealed he would love to play Ken in a Barbie sequel.

In a recent conversation, Cillian Murphy was asked if he would like to play Ken in Barbie 2 and the actor hopped in. He said, “Sure! Let’s read a script. Let’s talk.”

Cillian Murphy has expressed his enthusiasm for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie before. He also revealed that he cannot wait to watch the film.

Oppenheimer, which also stars Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr. and others, is a biographical thriller based on the man known as the father of the atomic bomb.

Meanwhile, Barbie starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera and others is a comedy fantasy film that debunks the myth of the world famous toy.
