India women’s cricket team will look to clinch the T20I series against Bangladesh women when they face off for the second T20 match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday. Harmanpreet Kaur-led Team India is leading 1-0 in the three-match T20 series after winning the first game by seven wickets on Sunday.
The Indian team restricted hosts Bangladesh to 114 for 5, with Pooja Vastrakar, Minnu Mani and Shafali Verma taking one wicket each. Shorna Actor top-scored for Bangladesh with an unbeaten 28.
In reply, the Indian women’s cricket team managed to chase down the target with 3 overs to spare. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 54 runs in 35 balls and finished the match with a six and a four. However, Shafali Verma once again failed with the bat and got out for a duck.
