Director Sudipto Sen has now reacted to the video. According to times of India, the director revealed that one of the men causing chaos in the video is a ‘well-known radical Muslim leader’. He further said, ‘I am not surprised at all that he did this. Because by doing so they are making the case stronger.
He further added, “Only Jihadis and fundamentalists are opposing my film”. Despite controversies and many people claiming that The Kerala Story is anti-Muslim, director and producer Vipul Shah said the film portrays the tyranny of terrorism and does not target any particular religion.
Shakeel Afsar, a radical Islamist from UK, disrupted the screening of ‘The Kerala Story’ and raised slogans of Free Kashmir.
