Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor are celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary today. Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor dated each other for 11 years before tying the knot on 19 May 1984. Now, on this special occasion, Anil Kapoor has shared some adorable pictures of them from over the years, and penned a romantic note to celebrate 50 years together. In his note, he wrote how she still takes his breath away, and that their love story will live on forever. His daughter Sonam Kapoor also shared a special post calling him the ‘best parent in the world’.

Anil Kapoor has posted a series of pictures with Sunita on his Instagram. In the first he is seen smiling widely while Sunita grabs his cheeks. Next is a big throwback picture, in which they are seen talking to each other. The last picture features not only Anil and Sunita, but also their kids Rhea, Harshvardhan, Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja.
In his caption, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Happy 50 years of love Sunita! Here’s to being the lead in the most epic romance we could ever imagine… a love story that began 50 years ago and will live on forever! I will never understand how you stay sane for 39 years of marriage and 11 years of dating me! They should write ballads about your patience and devotion!
