And it’s getting you popularity. But, There is an actor inside you. And when you give a good performance or a good scene someday, you will feel like a lion that has tasted blood for the first time. After that, you will not be satisfied with anything less ‘” recalled the Bloody Daddy actor.
Shahid shares his opinion on stardom
The talented actor also shared what stardom means to him, and how he reached this point in his career and life, in his chat with Pinkvilla. “There’s an external kind of popularity that you look at. People like you, they love you, they give you all the praise and admiration. But that’s external—they’re feeling happy to see you. But, what You are feeling happy? Inner? Happiness, satisfaction, growth and development happen when you are constructively involved in the journey of growth, development and improvement. Where the boy is becoming a man, and a man becoming a professional. Has been, and a professional becoming a legend. That’s the journey that every man wants to take after a point of time,” said Shahid Kapoor.
“That’s a richer, more long-lasting, more dignified journey. And that’s what I’ll always choose. I’ll always pursue great characters, great movies, great scenes, great moments that touch me, and Scenes that I can’t forget after 20 years because wherever the technology is, they were so great. That’s really what cinema is for me. And I want good films to be commercially successful,” concluded the actor.
