Blackrock notwithstanding, don’t expect a flood of spot-bitcoin ETFs anytime soon: expert

If you’ve been into crypto for a while, you’ll know that ETFs have long been considered key to creating a broad-based market for digital assets. And recent news that BlackRock has also submitted a proposal to set up such a vehicle has raised hopes. If a well-connected institution like BlackRock was getting involved in a bitcoin ETF, surely approval and the first US crypto ETF could not be far away.
