New Delhi: The BJP has come up with a masterstroke political plan – ‘Women, Modi Kirtan and Rakhi Bandho’ for the five state assembly elections to be held this year, which will be implemented on the ground in various ways in the coming days. Of the country’s five electoral states – Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram, the Congress is in power in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is in power in Telangana. Currently, the BJP government is in power in Madhya Pradesh, while Mizoram has an NDA government and Zoramthanga, leader of the Mizo National Front, an ally of the BJP, is the chief minister of the northeastern state.
BJP women’s wing national president Vanathi Srinivasan told IANS that the saffron party has chalked out a mega plan to woo women voters in these five poll-bound states. He told that three election in-charges have been appointed separately for these five states by the women’s wing of BJP.
These 15 women leaders of the party, along with the state presidents of the women’s wing of their respective states, will campaign to connect women voters with the BJP as per the plan of the organization regarding women leaders and workers. Srinivasan also said that the National Women’s Wing of BJP is paying special attention to strengthen the women’s wing organization of BJP in these five states.

Along with this, the women’s wing of the party will organize several programs like ‘Naya Voter Sammelan’ to connect new women voters with the party at the booth level and inform the first-time voters and other women voters about the achievements of the Modi government during the last nine years. The BJP Mahila Morcha in these five states has also made several plans for Navratri and Raksha Bandhan, including ‘Modi Kirtan’, ‘Sneh Yatra’ and ‘Rakhi Bandho’ campaign.
The national president of the BJP Mahila Morcha told IANS that women workers of the saffron party would try to connect women voters with the party by spreading information about the achievements of the Modi government’s nine-year tenure through ‘Modi Kirtan’ during Navratri. Along with this, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, rickshaw and auto drivers as well as delivery boys will be told about the achievements of the Narendra Modi government by tying rakhi to them. The party has named it ‘Sneh Yatra’.
The BJP Mahila Morcha held a meeting on Friday and finalized the strategy for these five poll-bound states. Election in-charges, co-in-charges, state presidents and other important women leaders of BJP’s national executive women’s wing also participated in the meeting chaired by Srinivasan.
BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh, Party’s National General Secretary and Women’s wing in-charge Dushyant Gautam also gave important tips about the election campaign to these women leaders involved in the campaign to connect more and more women to the party in these five poll-bound states.
