New Delhi: The Border Security Force intercepted the fifth Pakistani drone in four days, which had entered India to drop a consignment of drugs from the International Border (IB) in Punjab. A spokesman of the force gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the flying object was dropped at around 9 pm on Monday night in Amritsar sector in Bhaini Rajputana village of Amritsar district. The spokesperson said the BSF recovered a black colored drone, a quadcopter made ‘DJ Matrice 300 RTK’, with 2.1 kg of suspected heroin attached through an iron ring. A small torch was also attached to the drone in the switched-on position so that drug smugglers could trace the consignment and pick it up from Indian territory, he said.

This is the fifth interception of a “rogue” unmanned aerial vehicle on the Punjab border since May 19.
