Amitabh Bachchan pens a note on his 50th wedding anniversary with Jaya Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. The stars tied the knot on June 3, 1973. Since then, they are one of the most loved couples of B-Town. To make the occasion memorable, Amitabh wrote a lovely note on his blog.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “The morning of 3rd June is in a few days..and the years are counted as 50..gratitude for the love, respect and wishes that have come and will probably come.”

Meanwhile, Shweta Bachchan, Amitabh and Jaya’s daughter, shared a rare throwback picture of her parents and wrote, “Happy 50th parenthood~ Now you’re “Golden”” when once asked what the secret to a long marriage was What is it, my mother replied – love, and I guess my father was – the wife is always right. That’s the long and the short of it!!”
