New Delhi: Actress Alia Bhatt on Saturday won the Best Performance in a Lead Role (Female) award at IIFA 2023 for her film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
The 30-year-old actress was not present to accept her award in person. On Sunday, the ‘Brahmastra’ actor shared a picture on her Instagram account, which she captioned, “Thank you so much @iifa. Sorry I couldn’t be there in person to receive the award. A special thank you.” ” Thank you viewers for your continued support. This makes me and the whole team very happy.
If reports are to be believed, Alia did not attend the event due to family emergency. It is being told that the health of Alia’s maternal grandfather Narendra Razdan is not good.
