Adipurush Screening: Kriti Sanon looked very beautiful in Anarkali suit, arrived with family; watch video

Adipurush, the much-awaited mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana, is finally all set to hit the theaters on Friday, June 16. The film, which features pan-India superstar Prabhas as Lord Ram aka hero Raghav, is helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Om Raut. Popular Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon plays the role of Sita aka Janaki in the film.

Adipurush was originally slated to hit the theaters in January 2023, but was later postponed to June after the initial trailer received criticism from the audience for its special effects. However, the recently released trailer indicates that director Om Raut and his team are all set to deliver a better version of the Prabhas starrer by working extensively on CGI and special effects over the last six months.

Kriti Sanon attended the screening of Adipurush with her family

Ahead of the film’s grand theatrical release worldwide, the makers of Adipurush organized a special screening event for the cast and crew members of the film and their families on Thursday night, June 15, in Mumbai. Lead actor Prabhas and main antagonist Saif Ali Khan, who plays Lankesh in the film, did not attend the screening due to their busy schedules.

At the screening of Adipurush, the film’s lead actress Kriti Sanon looked drop dead gorgeous in a peacock blue Anarkali suit. She completed her look with minimal accessories, straight hairdo and dewy makeup. The actress was accompanied by her parents, Rahul Sanon and Geeta Sanon, her younger sister Nupur Sanon and her boyfriend Stebin Benn for the screening of the biggest project of her acting career. The proud parents of the actress arrived at the venue with their daughters and looked overjoyed as they interacted with the paparazzi photographers.
