Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap pens a heart-warming note on completing 30 years in Mumbai

New Delhi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap completed 30 years in the city of dreams Mumbai on Saturday.

To mark the occasion, Anurag shared a picture of the Punjab Mail train on his Instagram, which he captioned, “3rd June, 1993 I got down at Dadar station.. It was raining. Long.. I remember I took my first local train from Dadar to Andheri to meet a friend who had come from Delhi before me. The one who became the inspiration for @imtiazaliofficial ‘s most special film “Rockstar”. I got courage from both Jaggu and Miley I’m ready to come to mumbai but then, they joined @sxcbom to do mass com..and that’s all I’ve been thinking about since then.grateful for everything this city has and all the friends and memories what it has given to me.. #karmbhoomi

Soon after the filmmaker wrote the note, fans and friends flooded the comments section with red heart emoticons and congratulatory messages.
