He agreed that some things have happened (which are shown in the film), but added that the numbers cannot be misinterpreted. He also expressed that he was against any ban of the film. Elaborating further, he said that his film was banned and people didn’t even know the reason behind it.

Earlier, the Tamil star had called the film a “propaganda film”. He told ANI, “I had said to you, I am against promotional films. Just writing the ‘true story’ as a logo is not enough. It really should be true, and it’s not true.”
