Jio is making the Bharat phone available for purchase for approximately one million units. These phones will be introduced as part of beta testing in 6,500 tehsils across the country. Jio Bharat V2 and Jio Bharat K1 Carbon: Specification
The Jio Bharat Phone, available in two variants (Jio Bharat K1 Carbon and Jio Bharat V2), is a feature phone with a physical T9 keypad. It has 1,000mAh battery capacity, 1.77-inch screen and supports up to 128GB external memory card. The phone sports a VGA camera at the back and comes in two color options: black and blue for the Jio Bharat Phone V2, while the Carbon variant has a grey-red color scheme. Each phone includes a charger as well as call recording as an added feature. Users can enjoy free access to JioCinema and JioSaavn, listen to FM radio, make payments using JioPay and take advantage of its support for 23 Indian languages.

Reliance Jio has launched a special mobile plan ‘Jio Bharat Mobile Plan’ designed for these smartphones. Priced at ₹123 per month, the plan gives users 500MB of daily data and unlimited calling for a month, resulting in a total of 14GB of data. Alternatively, users can opt for the annual subscription at ₹1234, which offers enough 168GB data throughout the year.
