New Delhi: IAS officer Srishti Jayant Deshmukh is one of the most followed civil servants in India. Deshmukh, who holds a chemical engineering degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology, Bhopal, secured the fifth rank in UPSC CSE 2018.
Srishti Jayant Deshmukh topped the list of 182 women candidates who cleared the UPSC exam that year.
“I had decided that my first attempt is my last attempt,” he told reporters after passing the prestigious exam.

Srishti Jayant Deshmukh was born in 1995 and belongs to Kasturba Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
She reportedly went to Carmel Convent School in Bhopal and scored 10 CGPA in class 10th and 93.4% in class 12th board exams.
According to various media reports, her father Jayant Deshmukh is an engineer in a private company and her mother Sunita works as a teacher in a private school.
Srishti Deshmukh is currently the SDM of Gadarwara.

He has been instrumental in promoting Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s recently launched ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’ scheme. Through this scheme, the MP government is giving Rs 1,000 per month to women in the age group of 23 to 60 years who own less than 5 acres of land and have an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
“The cash transfer of Rs 1,000 per month is aimed at improving the health and nutrition of women and children and is a step towards their economic independence,” he said.

She is also working towards improving the living conditions of people in rural areas and has been instrumental in the implementation of various other government schemes including the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana.

Srishti Deshmukh is married to fellow IAS officer Nagarjuna B Gowda. The IAS couple reportedly met while training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, and dated each other for about two years before tying the knot.
Srishti Deshmukh and Nagarjuna B Gowda, who belong to a middle-class family from Karnataka, got married on April 24, 2022. The pictures from their wedding were a hit on the social media platforms.
Gowda, who holds an MBBS degree, had secured AIR 418 in UPSC CSE 2018.
