One of the most difficult tasks is to crack the UPSC exam. It takes a lot of hard work, persistence and patience to crack the Civil Services Exam. Today we will tell you about the persistence of IAS officer Anju Sharma who struggled academically in her class at the age of 12 but eventually cracked the UPSC exam at the age of 22. He made one of his best achievements out of a failure.
Anju Sharma started her career in Rajkot in 1991 as an Assistant Collector. Apart from this, he has held several government posts including the District Collector of Gandhinagar.
Struggle of IAS Anju Sharma
Anju Sharma had failed in pre-board chemistry in class 10th and economics paper in class 12th. Except these two, she passed with distinction in all other subjects. He claimed that only success can set you up for failure.
Anju recalled how her mother supported and encouraged her through difficult times in her life. He also found that one should not rely on studying at the last minute, so he started studying early for his college exams, which helped him win a gold medal for his college.
He did BSC and MBA from Jaipur. Anju Sharma revealed in an interview that she had failed in the 10th Chemistry pre-board exam. However, she excelled in other courses and earned honours. After this, she also failed in the Economics paper in class 12th. He also got gold medal in college. She was also working on the Civil Services Examination around this time.
Achieved success at the age of 22
Just 22 years old, Anju passed the civil service examination in the first attempt. He achieved success for his family as well as for himself. Due to this method, she was able to crack the UPSC exam in her first attempt itself. She completed her course very early and was listed among the top scorers of IAS.
Anju Sharma is currently working as Principal Secretary in Government Education Department (Higher and Technical Education) Secretariat in Gandhinagar.
