Taylor Swift and Matty Healy apparently split before people could get used to the notion of them being together. They had been linked since early May. After breaking up with her longtime partner Joe Alwyn, it is possible that Mattie was merely Taylor’s rebound partner.
It has since been revealed through sources that the connection was only planned to be short-lived, and this suggests that the romance was casual from the outset.
In an effort to allay doubts, 1975 vocalist Matty Healy recently made an announcement about his relationship with Taylor on stage before the band’s performance. He did this by asking the crowd, “Is it all a little? Is it honesty? Will he ever address it?” There was a burning question in his mind. However, he briefly remarked, “These questions and other questions will be ignored for the next hour. Then, suddenly, he said, “Ladies and gentlemen, it is 1975.” All his worries were laid to rest.
When Taylor Swift addressed her fans during a live performance: “I’ve never been so happy in all aspects of my life,” Swift seemed to be in unbridled joy and accepting a new phase of her life with Matty. He then thanked them for contributing to it.
She added, “It’s not just a tour, I just kind of feel like my life finally makes sense. So I thought I’d play this song that brings back so many happy memories for me.”
