New Delhi: Actress and former beauty queen Pooja Batra made her acting debut in 1997 with Priyadarshan’s hit film Virasat and has come a long way since then. She is now a fashion icon and has a massive fan following on social media. She often rocks the internet with her bold and classy looks and leaves her fans in awe. Recently, Pooja dropped yet another bold look of hers which left netizens completely in awe.
The actor was seen wearing a body silhouette wet outfit and posing in a garden. In one scene of the video, she is also taking a dip in the pool. She captioned her post, “#avantgarde only for #fashion forward aficionados.” However, the audience was left in awe of her latest fashion pick.
As soon as Pooja dropped the video, netizens expressed their views on her latest look. Some of them, who did not approve of her latest bold choice, questioned the actor for wearing such a bold dress.
Actor Nawab Shah who is married to Pooja expressed his latest look and left a comment on her post. “Awesome,” he wrote with a red heart emoji. It is to be known that Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah got married as per Arya Samaj ceremony in New Delhi in June 2019 away from the media glare.
Pooja Batra was crowned Femina Miss India International in 1993 and represented India at Miss International 1993. She has been a part of many films including ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya’ and ‘Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye’. One of his films, ‘Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story’, a historical epic, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004.
She has also been a part of several South films, including three Malayalam films and two Tamil films, including a cameo in the 1995 film ‘Asai’. She appeared at the 2009 Academy Awards in Los Angeles, where she was reunited with her Viraat co-star, Anil Kapoor.
Pooja was previously married to Dr. Sonu S. Ahluwalia, an orthopedic surgeon in Los Angeles, California. However, after eight years of marriage, she filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. She revealed her relationship with actor Nawab Shah in June 2019.
