Afghanistan is currently playing a three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka. Naveen is not a part of it. This is because the selectors feel that he is still not ready to make a comeback in the ODI team. Naveen last played an ODI in January 2021 after which he was dropped. However, he continues to be a big player in T20s for various clubs, franchises and the national team.
