The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and gusty winds at most places in and around Delhi on Sunday. “Most locations of Delhi (Safdarjung, Lodi Road, IGI Airport, Ayanagar), NCR (Loni Dehat, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh) Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhel, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Sohana, Palwal, Nuh, Aurangabad (Haryana),” the IMD said in a statement. The agency said that parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan will also receive moderate to heavy rain on Sunday.
IMD said, “Gulati, Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad, Shikarpur, Khurja, Pahasu, Debai, Gabhana, Jattari, Atrauli, Khair, Aligarh (UP) Bhiwari, Tijara (Rajasthan) during next 2 hours”.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Delhi recorded the coldest May in 36 years as the average maximum temperature dropped to 36.8 degrees Celsius due to excess rainfall. Rain lashed parts of the national capital in the early hours of Wednesday, even as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate intensity rain over entire Delhi and adjoining areas.
