Star kids come from a privileged background and it is quite obvious for them to follow in the footsteps of their parents. However, there are many star kids in the film industry who have chosen a different path for themselves. R Madhavan’s son Vedant is among the few who chose not to enter the world of acting, and Madhavan’s younger son is currently flourishing in what he is doing.
While Madhavan has always enthralled the audience with roles in films like Alai Payuthe, 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu, and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect among others, his son is making headlines by setting a world record in swimming.
Recently, Vedant Madhavan won five gold medals – 50, 100, 200, 400 and 1,500 meters – at the Malaysian Invitational Age Group Championships 2023 held from April 13-16 in Kuala Lumpur. Maddy is a proud father as his athlete son Vedant has created records at the international level.
