Vicky Kaushal’s hilarious move after IPL final got postponed due to rain: ‘Baarish tujhe pap lagega’

The much-awaited IPL 2023 final clash between defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Ahmedabad was postponed due to heavy rain. The high-voltage match at the Narendra Modi Stadium has been shifted to Monday, May 29 – a reserve day. The summit clash kept the fans on the edge of their seats, however, left them disappointed at the end of the day as everyone returned home after a delay. Among the disappointed fans was Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who turned up to watch the final match. The Govinda Mera Naam actor was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday for the GT vs CSK match but was left disappointed as it was postponed due to incessant rain.

In a hilarious take on the same, Vicky shared a picture of the drenched stadium with empty seats on his Instagram story. He also added a humorous text which caught everyone’s attention. He wrote, “The rain will make you sin.”

Earlier, the actor was caught with former India cricketer Sourav Ganguly and former IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla as they too arrived for the final match. Vicky was also seen interacting with some other celebrity guests who were at the stadium on Sunday.

The IPL 2023 final match between CSK and GT was scheduled to start at 7.30 PM on Sunday, May 28. However, the schedule was delayed due to rain just before the toss. Later, the rain intensified, further delaying the match as puddles were seen forming on the field. After several hours of waiting, it was finally decided that the match would have to be postponed and rescheduled for the reserve day.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal, who recently attended IIFA 2023, has a lot going for him. The actor who was last seen in Govinda Mera Naam will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Sara Ali Khan.

He also has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur in the pipeline, which will release later this year.
