Alia Bhatt’s maternal grandfather Narendra Razdan remains in critical condition

Alia Bhatt, who was set to attend an award function, reportedly canceled her trip as her maternal grandfather Narendra Razdan is in hospital in a critical condition.

According to a source close to the Bhatts, the family said, “Mr. Narendra Razdan is Soni Razdan’s father and Aaliya’s grandfather. He has been in Breach Candy Hospital for some time now. He had a lung infection which had worsened. In the morning the family received a call that the doctors wanted to shift him to ICU. It was decided not to shift him to ICU, but he was taken to rest inside the room. He is 95 years old and as of now, he is in the hospital It’s sunset. Aaliya came back from the airport as she didn’t want to be at the award function while her grandfather was going through a very weak time.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. The film will hit the big screens on July 28, 2023.
