The film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book It Ends With Us has begun starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni and Brandon Sklarnaar. The upcoming film has only received rave reviews from hardcore fans of the book since filming began, and today is no different. A photo of Blake Lively from the set is hitting the internet, and the film is being slammed yet again for style choices.
Blake Lively criticized for her pants
Blake Lively plays Lily Bloom, a florist who likes to dress bizarrely, unlike her character from the book, in this film adaptation of ‘It Ends With Us’. Several photos of Blake have surfaced on the internet where she is dressed in “lewd” clothing, and fans are not happy to say the least. The fans of the book as well as the actress have been criticizing the styling department of the film.
Blake is seen wearing a set of patterned blue boxers that pull up above her belly button and another pair of bold patterned pants over the boxers. On top, she wears a blue crop top, a striped yellow jacket, and a mustard leather jacket as the final layer.

This is not the first time that fans have questioned the fashion faux pas made by the styling departments on the sets of the upcoming film. Previous photos from the shoot were criticized on the internet, but the boxer top of the pants really has fans on edge. A TikTok shared by the account @chaitealattesandchilton has several comments expressing fans’ anger towards the costumes.
One user commented, ‘Every picture that is released is getting worse and worse.’ Added another, “It seems like a prank now.”
A third drew parallels with the book, as they questioned, “Where in the books does it say that Lily wore multiple pairs of pants?”
A fourth chimed in, “Boxers are an abominable crime.” Another user wrote in disbelief, “The way they managed to make Blake look disgusting is insane to me.”
