‘All Rise For The King’ Sachin, Yuvraj Praise Virat Kohli’s Brilliant Knock Against SRH; Call it a ‘treat to watch’

Virat Kohli hit his sixth century of the Indian Premier League against Sunrisers Hyderabad yesterday and helped Royal Challengers Bangalore comfortably finish off the run chase with 4 balls to spare. The Faf du Plessis-led side secured two points and moved up to the fourth position in the table. The franchise now has one more game to play which will decide their entry into the play-offs.

King Kohli on Thursday night showed the classical knock that he is known for. He hit 12 fours and 4 sixes to chase down 187 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. He took the bowlers to the cleaners and thrashed them all over the park. This RCB star completed his century in just 62 balls; However, he could not stay there till the end as he got out in the very next ball.

Fans showered him with praise and not only him but former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag appreciated his brilliant innings. The Master Blaster said that both Virat and Faf were in complete control as they ran between the wickets and also played big shots. He also praised the cover drive of the former RCB captain. On the other hand, Virender Sehwag praised King Kohli for his sixth IPL century.

When Virat played the cover drive on the very first ball, it was obvious that this day would be Virat’s.

Both Virat and Faf looked in complete control, not only playing several big shots but also running well between the wickets to build a successful partnership.
