MP Elections 2023: Buoyed by the party’s performance in Karnataka, Congress is all set to replicate the campaign strategy in other poll-bound states as well. While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) popularized the idea of free electricity to win the Delhi and Punjab assembly elections, the Congress successfully used the idea in Karnataka. Now after tasting success with this formula, Congress is planning to run its campaign in Madhya Pradesh on the same lines. He said that people will not have to pay the electricity bill for up to 100 units.
Kamal Nath said, “I am saying this for the first time. Discount up to 100 units, half the bill up to 200 units.” The Madhya Pradesh Congress claimed that the BJP would be wiped out in the state assembly elections. Kamal Nath’s message is clear, 100 units of electricity waived, 200 units crossed the bill in half, now BJP’s sweep is clear. of power),” tweeted the Madhya Pradesh Congress.

Kamal Nath also played the cheap LPG cylinder card, promising a LPG cylinder priced at Rs 500 with the state government offering a subsidy of Rs 600 as per the existing domestic LPG cylinder prices. The cost of an LPG cylinder is currently around Rs 100.
The Congress has also promised to restore the old pension scheme that helped the party win the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. Nath also promised farm loan waiver. Hitting out at the BJP after the saffron party’s defeat from Karnataka, Nath said, “After the massive defeat in the Karnataka elections, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have lost their balance. During the 18-year government in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP Didn’t do any work for them. That’s why now before the elections, the leaders of Madhya Pradesh BJP are giving controversial statements one after the other. The purpose of these statements is only to divert the attention of the people of Madhya Pradesh.
Kamal Nath said that the BJP should understand that the people of Madhya Pradesh are sensible and they are not going to get trapped in the politics of diversion. While the BJP has criticized the Congress for promising freebies, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government has come up with a ‘CM Sikho Kamao Yojana’, giving unemployed youth a stipend of Rs 8,000-10,000 during skill training and upskilling Will go The BJP government has already started the ‘Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana’, under which every woman in the state will get Rs 1000 per month.
