First look of Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao starrer Stree 2 released; ‘O woman protector Karna’

2018 horror-comedy Woman Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, the film changed the game for genre in Bollywood. From a compelling story mixed with folklore to interesting characters, the film was a commercial as well as critical hit. Amar Kaushik is still considered to be one of the best films of its genre.

Over the years several commercial horror comedy films tried their luck at the box office but failed miserably. Looks like only a sequel can go ahead Woman after all. The first look of the much-awaited sequel is finally out and looks like we are in for an interesting journey.

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao released the first look on their social media. The setting looks very similar to Chanderi where the first part was based. We see a writing on the wall that reads ‘Oh Stree Kal Aana’, a phrase that all the villagers had written on their houses to keep away the evil female spirit.

In the teaser, that line has been scratched out to ‘oh stree raksha karna’ and then ‘sarkate ka terror’. This may indicate the entry of a more powerful and more evil spirit. We can also see the woman clashing with the big villain. Stree 2 is all set to release next year but fans are more than eager to spam comments like “oh Stree come soon”.
