A submarine that was on an expedition to take five passengers to see the Titanic wreck site went missing on June 18. The incident occurred in the Atlantic Ocean when the submarine lost contact with the mothership an hour and forty-five minutes after starting its voyage. What happened to the Oceangate submarine?
At around 4 am on Sunday morning, the submarine of Oceangate Expedition started its journey to the depths of the ocean. It was diving from a height of 12,500 feet in the sea carrying five people. However, one hour and forty-five minutes after landing, the submersible was unable to contact the mothership, MV Polar Prince. Some submarine experts believe that deploying a remotely operated vehicle to a maximum depth of 20,000 feet is the only viable option for rescuing survivors.
