In a recent interview with Breaking Point, Jack Dorsey touched on a wide range of issues. His most explosive revelation was about the consideration of critical voices by the Indian government during the farmers’ protest a few years ago. His allegations were dismissed by the Indian government as highly partisan and an attempt to clean up the company’s own history of violating the country’s law. On Twitter, the government fiercely criticized Jack Dorsey’s tenure. The co-founder stepped down from Bird App’s board, never to return even though the company was reluctantly acquired by Elon Musk.

Jack described Musk as the messiah of the Internet’s public townsquare. However, after several decisions by Elon Musk including massive layoffs at Twitter, the former CEO is now relenting. During the interview, Jack described some of the moves by Musk as ‘quite reckless’. The former Twitter patriarch echoed his views from his earlier statement posted in BlueSky where he wrote that Twitter went south under Musk’s reign.
