Rohit Sharma praised Sourav Ganguly as the best captain of Team India even after the loss in WTC final

Sourav Ganguly has expressed his belief that Rohit Sharma as the successor to Virat Kohli is the ideal choice to take over as the captain of the Indian cricket team across all formats. The former BCCI president defended Rohit’s selection, insisting that winning the IPL is a more challenging feat than winning the World Cup.

When asked about Rohit’s appointment, Ganguly during an interview with Aaj Tak said, “When the selectors needed a new captain after Virat stepped down, Rohit was the best option.
